As part of the work I'm doing with Stageworks Toronto's production of Urinetown, I was asked to take some thematic Front of House portraits for the production. We agreed that, considering the subject matter of the play, there was no better place to take the photos than in a washroom. What's more, since there is a clear theme of class warfare in the production, I changed up the composition based on whether an actor was representing The Poor or The Rich.
They are far from your standard portrait/headshot, but they were a lot of fun to set up and take.
First up: The Poor.
...and, The Rich.
